With his hometown Mariners staring at yet another rebuilding year, Lukas decided to go with a somewhat safer choice when giving his opening day prediction of the eventual American League Pennant winner.

    The Tigers are seeing a 50% reduction in the number of season ticket holders over last year.

    I figure the same stat for wins.

    @Scifi - The Tigers had a great run. Hopefully they will be competetive again soon enough.

    @Momo - Every team is tied for first at this point in the season. The Reds, and even my Mariners in thier division. It only gets worse from here.

    @Captain DA - It is a fun experience even if your team sucks. Especially if you get to see Ken Griffey and Ichiro play together.
