A Kinder Shade of Purple

Apparently, the 'Purple Card' rarely gets handed out at Pre-K.

However, recently Lukas has brought home not one, but two of them.

These make me both happy and proud all at once.

On this holiday weekend, I am very thankful for having such a great son.

  2. When I read the first line my thought was 'Uh-oh'. Glad my instincts were wrong and the purple card is a good thing! Must be some awesome parenting going on. Good work to all of you!

  3. "kind heart" - cool (not sure about the whole card system though, too reminiscent of soccer.

  4. @Bruce - Thanks man. We try our best. He still has his moments, but is a really super boy.

@Cheyrl - Oh yeah, it is a very good thing. He gets his share of 'reflection' time too, but usually because of his enthusiasm.

@Daniel - Maybe if it were a Yellow card, but the purple is a good thing. At least at his school.

  5. Awes that is so awesome, what a sweetie! Yea we had a similar system in Grade K, however there was a blue card and it was no good at all, usually included a call home or a nice little chat :) yay for Lucas!
