Perspective

Ok today is not wordless. Nevertheless, sometimes a look back just helps. That 5:00 wake up call this morning? Not so bad after browsing through my old pictures for proper perspective.

I originally posted this as a Wordless Wednesday so there you go on the lack of sleep!

Hey, I have that rocker, and it ALWAYS makes me fall asleep!

My first two would fall asleep on me like that...then I could move to lying down...but my third is immune to this power I used to have. Maybe it is better for me.

@Scary Mommy - I was just remembering how painfully tired I was during those first few weeks. Now I feel funny about complaining when I miss an hour here and there.

@MTAE - Perhaps. Does that mean you don't have to put #3 to sleep?

In this photo, Lukas was wide awake and I was the sleeping one.

Yep, it's all in how you look at things! Being a parent gives you a new perspective on everything...especially sleep.

I would so totally drop him there...

@Momo Fali - Back then I would have killed for the kind of sleep I get now. So I can't complain when I miss an hour here or there.

@Xbox - One would think, but the parental reflexes kick in and it doesn't happen.

I remember those early days too. They were rough.

I can still sleep sitting up. I do it every week in church.

@Captain - I will believe that when it happens. LoL.

@DC - In my defense it was probably 3:00 AM and I hadn't slept but a couple of hours a day.

@VegasDad - Those days must not have been long ago for you.

@Dad Stuff - Sound like my Dad. He is a champ at that.

Dude- this was ME this past week! Minus the boppy... although, in retrospect I should of used it!

@Eric - Embrace the boppy...and anything else that will make your life easier with a brand new one.
